ErrorXRechnung business rule (KoSIT)

Official message

What the message means

A vehicle line of your invoice carries the attribute cva, but with a value the CVD extension does not know. Exactly three values are permitted: clean for a clean vehicle within the meaning of the German clean vehicles procurement act, zero-emission for a vehicle without tailpipe emissions, and other for everything else. The public body counts its quotas with them; a freely worded value such as electric or diesel cannot be evaluated and makes the invoice invalid.

Common causes

  • The drive was entered as plain text such as electric or hybrid.
  • The value was translated, for example sauber instead of clean.
  • Capitalisation or spaces differ, for example Zero Emission.

How to fix it

Set in cac:AdditionalItemProperty with cbc:Name cva the value clean, zero-emission or other, spelled exactly so; in CII in ram:Value of the ApplicableProductCharacteristic with ram:Description cva. Which value applies follows from the emission limits of the act and the vehicle documents.

Before – invalid
<cac:AdditionalItemProperty>
  <cbc:Name>cva</cbc:Name>
  <cbc:Value>electric</cbc:Value>
</cac:AdditionalItemProperty>
After – corrected
<cac:AdditionalItemProperty>
  <cbc:Name>cva</cbc:Name>
  <cbc:Value>zero-emission</cbc:Value>
</cac:AdditionalItemProperty>

Frequently asked

Is a plug-in hybrid clean or zero-emission?

A plug-in hybrid can be clean if it meets the limits of the act; zero-emission is only a vehicle without tailpipe emissions. The manufacturer supplies the classification.

What do I enter when the vehicle meets none of the conditions?

other. The value is permitted and honest; the public body needs it to calculate its quota correctly.
