[BR-DEX-10] Das Element "Third party payment type" BT-DEX-001 muss übermittelt werden, wenn die Gruppe "THIRD PARTY PAYMENT" (BG-DEX-09) übermittelt wird.

What the message means

Your invoice uses the group for third party payments, with which the extension represents amounts that someone other than the invoice recipient covers. Every such payment needs a statement of what kind of payment it is, for example a subsidy, an insurer's share or a voucher. Without it the recipient cannot assign the amount and the invoice is rejected. The detail is mandatory as soon as the group is present.

How to fix it

Enter in every cac:PrepaidPayment group cbc:ID with the kind of payment as the recipient expects it, for example subsidy or insurer share, together with the amount in cbc:PaidAmount. Without a third party payment remove the group.

Frequently asked

Is there a code list for the payment type?

The extension prescribes no list; the value is a text you agree with the recipient. Keep to a few fixed terms.

Is the group available in CII as well?

Third party payments are defined in the UBL version of the extension; CII has no corresponding group.

Also seen when …

The third party payment was captured with an amount only, the type was not selected.
The software writes the group from a template without the type field.
The type was written into the invoice text instead of the field.
