[BR-DE-CVD-03] In einer Rechnung muss mindestens eine INVOICE LINE (BG-25) enthalten sein, in der der Scheme identifier von "Item classification identifier" (BT-158) den Wert 'CVD' und der "Item attribute name" (BT-160) den Wert 'cva' enthält.

What the message means

Your invoice carries the CVD extension, but no invoice line describes a vehicle the way the extension requires: with a vehicle category in the classification scheme CVD and an attribute named cva that states whether the vehicle is clean, zero-emission or neither. These two details are the purpose of the extension; without them the public body cannot prove its quota of clean vehicles. At least one line must carry both.

Common causes

The vehicle lines were exported without classification and attribute.
The classification was given with a scheme other than CVD.
The attribute is named differently from cva, such as drive or emission.

How to fix it

Mark every vehicle line: in UBL cac:CommodityClassification/cbc:ItemClassificationCode with listID CVD and the category, plus cac:AdditionalItemProperty with cbc:Name cva and the attribute value. In CII accordingly ram:DesignatedProductClassification and ram:ApplicableProductCharacteristic.

Frequently asked

Must all lines be vehicles?

No. Accessories or services may stand without CVD details; at least one line, however, must be a vehicle with category and attribute.

Which values are allowed for the attribute cva?

clean, zero-emission or other, spelled exactly so. The attribute value and the vehicle category are checked by rules of their own in the extension.
